We Need Your Quilts We pride ourselves in featuring a large number of quilts and other quilted items in our quilt show. We encourage all of our members to register at least one quilt in the show, no matter your experience. The rules for entering a quilted item are:
Items for each guild challenge and activity from the last 3+ years (fall 2019 to now) will be grouped together. These include President's challenges, Mystery Quilt, Black and White Challenge and more (all listed below.) A security guard will be on site during the off hours to keep our quilts safe. Bed Turning - Quilts with History Please do register your quilts for our first bed turning event which is where someone turns quilts laying on a bed and explains different aspects of each quilt. Quilts that have been passed down in your family, bought at a yard sale, or a very loved quilt almost worn to threads, are ideal for this event. The person doing the quilt turning will be reading the little stories provided with the quilt, and there will be two events scheduled each day. These quilts will not be otherwise displayed at the show., and will not be eligible for viewer's choice voting. Registration

You can drop off your quilts on Friday, April 28 at the Nick Smith Centre arena from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Ensure that the unique number assigned to the quilt is attached to the it along with your name. We will have you sign our register to confirm we have all your registered quilts. If this time is not possible, someone else can drop off your quilts, or contact Joyce Murray at 613-623-5513 and we will be happy to make other arrangements. On Sunday, quilts can be picked up and signed out after the show closes at 4 PM. To respect that some folks may still be at the quilt show looking around, we would ask that no quilts be taken down prior to 4 PM. Your quilts can only be removed by you, or a person previously designated by you. Volunteer Opportunities
The quilt show is possible only with your help. The camaraderie with helping at such a community event is satisfying. There are lots of volunteer opportunities available. Help is needed both in the quilt show proper, and in the tea room. You can sign up for your volunteer shift(s) at the April 19th guild meeting. Tasks that you can sign up for are listed below along with the respective contacts if you have questions or require additional information.
