Schedule of Guild Meetings and Activities  2024-2025

Our fall 2024 and spring 2025 meetings will be in person, and winter (January, February and March 2025) via Zoom.

Information about previous meetings, visiting speakers, and other activities can be accessed from the Links page.  
We welcome guests at our in person guild meetings for a $5 guest fee payable in cash at the door.
A basic familiarity with Zoom is required by attendees of the winter meetings and can be acquired in advance of the meeting using the Learning resources on the Zoom website.  To register as a guest for a winter Zoom meeting click/tap here.

January 14, 2025 Tuesday 12:30 PM	Invitation	The Quilt Guild of Renfrew and Area, has invited our guild members to attend their Tuesday January 14th meeting. Time: Meeting starts at 1pm come any time after 12 noon Location: Horton Community Center, 1005 Castleford Road just outside of Renfrew Program: Phyllis Moody from Mad Moody Quilting Fabrics from Pincourt, Quebec will be our special guest. She will demonstrate some of her favourite quilting tools and have a Pop-up Shop. They will also have some of their members doing different demos.
January 22 Wednesday 7 PM	Guild meeting Via Zoom	Guest: Cindy McChesney of Cedar Ridge Quilting Title: Panel Palooza  In this informative and entertaining trunk show I'll show you how to take that panel you fell in love with and turn it into something truly unique. You'll experience my good, bad and AH HA moments as I learned how to work with the different styles of panels and how adding interesting block treatments and borders and filling those pesky open spaces with patchwork or appliqu results in a truly special quilt or unexpected project.
